Retrofitting 8” UHS type instrument cluster of Insignia A (Diesel or Gasoline)
Upgrade the look of your Opel with an Insignia A digital instrument cluster. This upgrade replaces the original monochrome analog instrument cluster with the Insignia A's 8-inch color digital display.
This instrument cluster offers much more than the original; it not only modernizes the car's aesthetics, but also adds a host of new features.
This retrofit is compatible with the following Opel vehicles:
- Opel Astra J (Incl. GTC/OPC) (requires minor modifications to the adjacent plastics of the instrument panel) requires adapter cable.
- Opel Insignia A 2011-2017, fully plug & play. Requires adapter cable. Insignia 2009 and 2010 are not compatible.
- Opel Cascada (requires minor modifications to the adjacent plastics of the instrument panel) requires an adapter cable.
- Opel Zafira C (requires minor modifications to the adjacent plastics of the instrument panel) requires adapter cable.
It might be compatible with these vehicles, but they require physical adaptations to the dashboard:
- Opel Meriva B
- Opel Mokka (2011-2014)
- Corsa E
Main Functions:
- Theme to choose from (Opc, Opc Unlimited, VRX, VXR Unlimited, Buick, Buick GS, Holden TT etc)
- If the vehicle is equipped with an HMI, navigation maps, phone and music information will appear on the instrument cluster.
- Performance menu activated
- Graph showing best consumption and average consumption
- Traffic signs menu (if equipped)
- Tracking and collision assistant menu (if equipped)
- Battery voltage
- Coolant temperature (OBD actual data)
- Acceleration and braking menu (if equipped)
- Oil temperature (if equipped)

What does this purchase include?

1x 8-inch digital instrument cluster for Insignia A. Fully programmed and ready to install (plug & play) and compatible with your vehicle's options. The vehicle's current mileage will automatically display when the cluster is connected.
- 1x (Optional) adapter wiring harness that allows the use of the instrument cluster with the original Opel control unit (for Astra J or Insignia 2011-2013, for Insignia 2014)
The digital instrument cluster comes pre-configured with your vehicle's specific parameters, allowing for plug-and-play installation without any additional coding. The installation procedure is designed to preserve the integrity of the original wiring , without any additions or modifications, guaranteeing a 100% reversible fit and compatibility with the OEM architecture .
We can install this adaptation for you at our Blitz Motorworks headquarters, or you can install it yourself at home with our step-by-step instructions.
Please note: The wiring adapter is not included as standard ; if installing on a 2011-2013 Insignia / Astra J / Zafira C / 2011-2014 Mokka, the adapter cable will be necessary.
Furthermore, if installed in one of the vehicles mentioned above, the instrument cluster will not be able to change its language, remaining in English by default, unless it is installed at our facilities, in which case we can change the language until the battery is disconnected.
The instrument cluster versions for petrol or diesel engines can work interchangeably with any engine; the only difference is the scale, either displaying 8,000 or 6,000 rpm, but the revolutions will be accurate in either case.
