Retrofitting 8” UHS type instrument cluster of Insignia A (Diesel or Petrol)
Modernize the look of your Opel with an Insignia A digital dashboard. This upgrade replaces the original monochromatic analog instrument cluster with the 8-inch color digital cluster from the Insignia A.
This cluster offers much more than the original; it not only modernizes the car's aesthetics but also adds a wealth of new features.
This retrofit is compatible with the following Opel vehicles:
- Opel Astra J (Incl. GTC/OPC) (requires minor modifications to the adjacent plastic dashboard trim) requires adapter cable.
- Opel Insignia A 2009-2017, fully plug & play. Requires adapter cable (except facelift models). Insignia 2009 and 2010 are now also compatible.
- Opel Cascada (requires minor modifications to the adjacent plastic dashboard trim) requires adapter cable.
- Opel Zafira C (requires minor modifications to the adjacent plastic dashboard trim) requires adapter cable.
It could be compatible with these vehicles but they require physical adaptations to the dashboard:
- Opel Meriva B
- Opel Mokka (2011-2014)
- Corsa E
Main Features:
- Selectable theme (Opc, Opc Unlimited, VRX, VXR Unlimited, Buick, Buick GS, Holden TT etc)
- If the vehicle is equipped with HMI, navigation maps, phone, and music information will appear on the display.
- Performance menu activated
- Graph with best fuel consumption and average consumption
- Traffic sign menu (if equipped)
- Lane keeping and collision assist menu (if equipped)

- Coolant temperature (actual OBD data)

What does this purchase include?

1x 8-inch digital instrument cluster from Insignia A. Fully programmed and ready to plug & play and install with your vehicle's options. The vehicle's current mileage will automatically appear when the cluster is connected.
- 1x (Optional) adapter wiring that allows the cluster to be used with the original Opel control (for Astra J or Insignia 2009-2013, for Insignia 2014/15/16 the adapter wiring is not necessary.
The digital instrument cluster is supplied pre-configured with your vehicle's specific parameters, allowing for a plug & play installation without the need for additional coding. The installation procedure is designed to preserve the integrity of the original wiring, without additions or modifications, ensuring a 100% reversible adaptation and compatible with the OEM architecture.
We can install this upgrade for you at our Blitz Motorworks headquarters, or you can install it yourself at home with our step-by-step instructions.
Please note: The wiring adapter is not included as standard. If installing on an Insignia A from 2009-2013 or on Astra J / Zafira C / Mokka 2011-2019, the adapter cable will be necessary.
Furthermore, if installed in one of the aforementioned vehicles, the cluster's language cannot be changed, remaining in English by default, unless installed at our facilities where we can change the language until the battery is disconnected.
The gasoline or diesel cluster versions can be used interchangeably in any engine, the only difference is the scale, showing either 8,000 or 6,000 rpm, but the revolutions will display correctly in any case.
