OpelEye camera retrofit (sign reader, lane assist and collision)
At Blitz Motorworks, we bring you an exclusive adaptation that transforms the functionality of your Opel with cutting-edge technology: the installation of the Opel Eye system , a multifunction camera capable of reading traffic signs and actively assisting you while driving.
A nearly mandatory upgrade for vehicles that didn't come with this feature from the factory, but which can integrate it fully natively thanks to our technical development.
This retrofit is compatible with the following Opel vehicles:
- Opel Astra J (Incl. GTC/OPC)
- Opel Insignia A
- Opel Zafira C
- Opel Mokka A
- Opel Cascada
- Opel Meriva B
Main Functions:
- Traffic Sign Recognition: Detects speed limits, prohibitions, and other signs in real time, displaying them on the instrument panel.
- Lane Keeping Assist: Alerts you to unintentional lane departures and corrects your lane if equipped.
- Forward Collision Alert: Monitors the distance to the vehicle in front and warns the driver if there is a risk of impact.

Additional options available:
- Installation kit with high-quality 3D printing in PETG for installation on a photochromic mirror without having to replace the windshield.
- With lane keeping assist (requires wiring and an additional button on the dashboard).
- With collision alert (requires wiring, steering wheel control replacement, and BCM Body Control Module programming)
